The Course
The beginning of this course is designed for singers who might not play an instrument or have any music theory classes in their background. I will walk you through what scales and keys are, and I’ll show you how to know what note you’re singing.
We will then explore “solfege” and the number system, and I’ll equip you to figure out the best harmony part when you’re singing with others.
Then, we will explore more advanced concepts like finding alternate and dissonant harmonies, singing runs, choosing more jazzy notes, and constructing your own songs.
At the end of this course, you’ll be more confident in a live setting with a band and other singers!
My Story
Like you, my love for singing started at day one, and carried me through many seasons.
As a teenager, I started getting opportunities to sing in bands and on worship teams, and I could do certain things really well and really naturally.
But, at times I’d struggle finding my starting note for a song, or remembering a harmony part when older and wiser singers would ask me to cover the alto line.
I had hit a ceiling - my natural talent and keen ear for music could only carry me so far.
Then, I’m so grateful that I got the opportunity to move to LA county and major in music. My classes finally gave me tools to understand and assess the music I was singing, so that I could be sure about finding the right notes, improvising and making songs my own.
It also helped me dive into writing and composing.
Now almost 20 years later, I’ve helped hundreds of my own students unlock the secrets to singing with confidence and excellence.
My students are uniquely set up to sing lead or backup, record in a studio, compose and write.
Many of my former students are now in relevant, present-day music careers such as singing in a rock band, participating in musical theatre, being a worship leader, co-writing for pop artists, or producing original music.
So much of it is universal, and I’m so excited to be able to help more singers, in a lot more affordable format, through this course.
Whenever you have questions, you’ll be able to comment on each lesson in the course, and I’ll reply. Check out the curriculum below and join my class of amazing singers as we take our skills to the next level! Make sure you get in now, so you have access forever - the price is going up soon.

Your instructor
I began my music career at 16 after winning a talent show and being invited to record with a Christian band in Kansas City. Soon after, I was listed in Gospel Music Association’s Top 20 New Writers.
3 years later, after moving to LA, I dove deep into songwriting and recording for TV and film. My original music has been featured in The Bachelor, Extreme Home Makeover, Bachelor in Paradise, The Bachelorette, Temptation Island, CW’s Katy Keen, Love Island, Preachers of LA, Too Young to Marry, Mystery Millionare, Ex and the Why, and many other shows and indie films. I also co-wrote the theme song for TLC’s My Giant Life.
As a pop songwriter, I’ve been privileged to write with chart-topping R&B writer Aaron Sledge (Usher), Kevin Fisher (co-writer Rascal Flatts, Sarah Evans), Ashley Argotta (from The Fosters on ABC), Matt Arcaini (producer for Disciple, Kutless, I Am Empire), Jonathan Lee and Rhyan Shirley (writers for Word Music), Eman Cervantez (drummer for Andy Grammar), Tyrone Wells (Universal Music), Megan Tibbits (Rising Star) and many others.
I’ve also become a topliner for EDM collabs through labels like Soave and Magic Records; you can hear these releases on my Spotify (just search Andrea Hamilton), which has around 250,000 listeners each month.
Some of my past performances include the Dolby Theatre Hollywood, Hotel Cafe, Hollywood and Highland, Starlight Theatre KC, many U.S. venues and numerous international stages including Singapore’s Esplanade.
